Accounts Screen

Use this screen to view and edit gross profit percentage values for part, labor, and miscellaneous account types. Add user defined part, labor, and miscellaneous account types, and to activate/deactivate user defined account types.

Description of fields on the screen

Field Label	Description
Edit	This option opens the account screen for editing.
Print	Select this option to print the account types list in report form.
Print Preview	Selecting this option allows you to view the account types list in report form on your screen.
Export to CSV	This option exports the account type information in a CSV (Comma Separated Value) file format.
Active	When checked, indicates the account type is active. You can only change this value for a user defined account type.
Account	This value is the program term for the account type. You cannot edit this field.
Display Name	This field is the name of the account type as displayed. This field can be edited while in Edit mode.
Gross Profit Goal %	The percentage value in this field indicates the amount of gross profit for the account type. This field can be edited while in Edit mode.
Display on Invoice	When checked, the selected Miscellaneous Account displays on the Invoice screen. This allows you to enter a cost amount for the selected entry. Some Miscellaneous Account entries in this column are disabled and are not displayed.
OK	Select this option to save your changes and close the screen. This option is viewable in the edit screen.
Cancel	Selecting this option closes the screen without saving. This option is viewable in the edit screen.
